At Lakesong, an intricate lacework of canals intersect the 5 acre waterfront property. There are 28 quaint cottages, all constructed on the banks of the inland canals. It has tiled roof and un-plastered exteriors which are reminiscent of the traditional houses. The interiors are roomy and comfortable. All accommodations have air conditioning and are well appointed with cable TV, direct-dial telephone and wi-fi technology. The rooming arrangements have been categorized into three Types. Vembanadu, Ashtamudi and Punnamada. "The Vembanadu and Ashtamudi Villas are constructed of Laterite rocks and Punnamada cottages are constructed of interlocking brickworks" Lakesong accommodations have all modern amenities for a comfortable stay.
